Linked closely with Latin America for being the immediate scenario and for constituting one of the most affected and abused regions. The elements that Urrutia draws belong not only to the region, but are inscribed in our own history as a biological sustenance and cultural tradition that, when violated, become the referents of the processes of conquest. The intention of drawing them as botanical annotations lies in simulating an instance of finding that is stressed by noticing the material that makes them (wire), becoming artifice within the technical process of embroidery. by the alien character of its result.
