CONSTELLATIONS 2026 | Fourth Edition of Red Quincho’s Residency Grant Program

For the fourth consecutive year, Proyecto´ace is part of Constelaciones (Constellations), Red Quincho’s residency grant program, which fosters exchange among artists, curators, and researchers through residency experiences across diverse urban and non-urban territories in Argentina.

The 2026 edition of Constelaciones will award 15 grants: 13 for applicants residing in Argentina and 2 for applicants residing in Spain. Each grant supports a one-month residency divided between two Red Quincho member spaces. Organized in paired residencies, each constellation offers complementary experiences that encourage dialogue across different geographies, communities, and artistic contexts. This structure promotes exchange between local and international scenes while strengthening connections across diverse territories.

Applicants must apply to one specific residency constellation (pair). Throughout the program, participants will be mentored by the coordinators of both residency spaces and will take part in collective gatherings, shared activities, and engagements with local communities, fostering dialogue between artistic practices, regional contexts, and situated forms of knowledge.

This year, Proyecto´ace participates in two residency constellations, reaffirming its commitment to artistic exchange, research, and the creation of meaningful connections between distinct territories.

Residencia Corazón (La Plata) + Proyecto´ace (Buenos Aires)

This residency explores the relationship between two cultural capitals connected by the same urban corridor. Participants are invited to investigate the intersections of memory, public space, artistic production, and urban futures through situated, collaborative, and research-driven practices.

Artists residing in Argentina and artists residing in Spain are eligible to apply for this residency pair.

Residencia Epecuén (Carhué) + Proyecto´ace (Buenos Aires)

This residency brings into dialogue two profoundly different territories: the contemporary urban landscape of Buenos Aires and the unique environment of Epecuén, shaped by memory, water, and the ongoing transformation of its landscape. Participants are invited to develop research connecting territory, archives, nature, history, and contemporary artistic practices.

Artists residing in Argentina and artists residing in Spain are eligible to apply for this residency pair.

Selected participants will complete their residency under the guidance of the teams from both host organizations while also taking part in collective meetings with the other Constelacioness grant recipients. These shared experiences encourage the exchange of methodologies, artistic approaches, and situated knowledge across the network.

This fellowship is offered only for Argentine artists or foreign residents of Argentina and Spanish artists living in Spain.

The Latin America's Paris

Buenos Aires is Argentine Republic's capital city. With 15,000,000 inhabitants, it is one of the largest cities in Latin America and one of the 10 most populous urban centers in the world. Its cosmopolitan and urban character vibrates to the rhythm of a great cultural offer that includes monuments, churches, museums, art galleries, opera, music and theaters; squares, parks and gardens with old groves; characteristic neighborhoods; large shopping centers and fairs. Here we also find a very good lodging facilities, with accommodation ranging from hostels to five-star hotels of the main international chains. Buenos Aires also show off about its variety of restaurants with all the cuisines of the world, as well as to have cafes and flower kiosks on every corner.

A neighborhood founded on the Jesuit farms in the 17th century

We are located in Colegiales neighborhood where the tree-lined streets, some of which still have their original cobblestones, invite you to walk. Although the apartment buildings advance, low houses still predominate. It is a district of the city where about 20 TV production companies, design studios, artist workshops and the Rock&Pop radio have been located. The neighborhood also has six squares, one of which pays homage to Mafalda, the Flea Market, shops, restaurants and cafes like its neighboring Barrios de Palermo and Belgrano, with which it limits.
