Robin Kaneshiro

Visiting Artist

27.01.2020 to 26.02.2020

As a great 2020 ´ace PIRAR Artist-in-residence International Program start at Proyecto´ace, we had the pleasure to host Robin Kaneshiro as a visiting artist.  He spent  a month of working together with resident artists from Canada-Germany, Argentina and Bolivia.

With a long career teaching printmaking in educational institutions in the United States, among then Iowa State University and more recently the City College of San Francisco, Robin was working in the workshop exploring local materials for the realization of different Monotype techniques, sharing your knowledge and experiences with all of us.

This visit acted as a prologue for his return, in the near future, in which he would lead a seminar on the different possibilities of contemporary monotypes.
