Damian Idzikowski is a young Polish artist who arrives at 'ace from the association that the' ace Foundation has with the Academy of Fine Arts of Lodz, institution where the artist studied and where he currently works as an assistant in the Study of Basic Techniques of Engraving directed by Professor Krzysztof Wieczorek.

Damian Idzikowski's work delves deep into human relationships and also refers to the sad past of the Nazi invasion of the city of Łódź, especially the ghetto of Łódź which was the second largest ghetto after Warsaw.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Now I'm working on a project: "Searching for an artistic identity. Trying to define your graphic language." The main goal that I assume when working on this topic is to create a graphic cycle using the printing methods using different matrices. The challenges I am trying to take are combining classical artistic graphics with a graphic matrix and creating multilayered visual objects. I would like to develop my own way by enriching my own workshops and learning new solutions, using matrices and ready-made prints.
