International Project

As part of the celebration of the 150 aniversary of the Colegiales Neighborhood in Buenos Aires, and to mark the beginning of the Spring Season, Fundación 'ace para el Arte Contemporáneo is proud to present the international project "150 CYCLES", an initiative that seeks to open spaces for the creation of work, the interaction of artists of all nationalities with Argentine ones, new oportunities for exhibition and dissemination of works  as well as disucssion and ideas exchgange  with renowned international artists and art writers.

150 {CYCLES} proposes the creation of a colaborative portfolio for each participating artist, the opportunity to exhibit both in Argentina and abroad while participates in 4 group discussions with experienced global artists, who will present their ideas and thoughts on current contemporary printmaking in the world. The project consist on one Micro-Residency- studio work, where artists will develop their work in the `ace Fundation printshop. The final work will be exhibited at the Fundación'ace.

While showing the work done with the guest artists, you can also see on display the international projects FURTHER and CRITICAL MASS
  
DATES:

January 17, Friday
Open call Deadline.

January 20 Monday to Thursday 23 | 1.00  to 6.00 PM 
Working at the print-shop. Artists will develop their work under the supervision of Adriana Moracci and Germán Sandoval.

January 24, Friday | 11.00 AM to 6.00 PM
Last day of work at the print-shop. Final meeting with all the artists. Feedback about the week of production and final works. Video Talk with artist John Hitchock (4PM). Open studio together with the artist in residence of January.
