A place to live ( right into the Buenos Aires' heart)

Aloj´ace, the guest house of Proyecto’ace, is an apartment that was conditioning to lodge artists and curators that are invited to realize projects within our Artist-in-Residence Program, with the purpose of living a comfortable environment that allows our guests to enjoy their stay in Buenos Aires and the work in Proyecto’ace.

Our residence is located in Reconquista Street, between Marcelo T. de Alvear and Paraguay, within the historical area of Retiro, in the heart of Buenos Aires city. Its strategic location gives our residents the possibility of going over by foot many of the turistic attractions of the city such as The Colón Theatre, the Obelisco, the walking streets Florida and Lavalle, the new area of Puerto Madero and the exclusive shopping centre like Patio Bullrich and Galerías Pacífico. Also the square called Plaza de Mayo and Plaza San Martín, as well as the Kavanagh building and the English Tower. The located area has many options of public transport, access by foot to the Retiro Train Station and to the Subways of the city. The line C (blue), Plaza San Martín Station, is very near and you can enjoy of a beautiful green space -that get you relax in the middle of the rhythm of this exciting city- and three exhibition spaces for the contemporary art: the Ruth Benzacar Gallery, the Federico Klemm Foundation and the Spanish Cultural Centre. Surrounding the apartment you can find cinemas, restaurants, pubs, theatres, shopping centers, pharmacies, beauty and esthetic places, banks, change stores, libraries and much more. 

Aloj´ace is located in a quiet second floor of the building with elevator. The department has a big bed-room, a living-dinner room, a complete bathroom, a kitchen and a hall. It is decorated with original art works and has a wall in which the resident artists leave their sign.
